The Board of Tax Appeals (BoTA) is expected to convene a one-day validation workshop following the development of its draft Five-Year Strategic Plan (2026–2030), which is intended to serve as a roadmap for strengthening institutional capacity, improving service delivery, enhancing operational efficiency, promoting transparency and accountability, and advancing the Government of Liberia’s ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development (AAID).

‎The program is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Conference Room of the Board of Tax Appeals (BoTA) Headquarters, located on Redemption Road, Monrovia.

‎Expected participants include representatives from key stakeholder institutions, including the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA), the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning (MFDP), the Civil Service Agency (CSA), civil society organizations, taxpayers, tax practitioners, tax consultants, members of the Fourth Estate, and other relevant partners.

‎‎The Board of Tax Appeals (BoTA) was established in March 2011 pursuant to the provisions of the Revenue Code of Liberia (2000) and subsequent public financial management reforms. BoTA is a quasi-judicial institution mandated to protect the rights of taxpayers and the taxing authority, the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA), through the fair and impartial adjudication of tax disputes.

‎‎The Board looks forward to the active participation and valuable contributions of all stakeholders as it seeks to strengthen its institutional framework and enhance its service to the Liberian people.
