In an effort to strengthen performance management and compliance, the Board of Tax Appeals (BoTA) hosted a team from the Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs, through the Cabinet Secretariat, on Monday, September 7, 2026.
The meeting, which was held in BoTA Conference Room on Redemption Road in Monrovia, was intended to facilitate an independent mid-year review under the Performance Management and Compliance System (PMCS).
The mid-year review covered the period from January to June 2026 and was conducted as part of efforts to evaluate progress on key priorities, including performance targets, verifiable reported results, and areas identified as requiring improvement.
In his opening remarks, BoTA Executive Director, Cllr. Benjamin B. Stewart Jr., warmly welcomed the team from the Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs, through the Cabinet Secretariat, headed by G. Shardrick Bloyue. He reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to providing the necessary information and documentation for the successful completion of the exercise.
The Board of Tax Appeals (BoTA) remains committed to supporting every aspect of the Performance Management and Compliance System (PMCS) and ensuring its smooth implementation in accordance with the Government of Liberia’s performance management framework.
